Program Volunteers – Colorado Youth Outdoors
Program Volunteers are the hands-on heartbeat of Colorado Youth Outdoors – Colorado Springs. They help bring our mission to life by directly supporting our CORE classes, seasonal programs, and special events that connect families through traditional outdoor recreation.
Opportunities include:

CORE Program Support – Assist instructors with archery, fishing, shooting sports, and other hands-on activities that teach outdoor skills and build family connections.

Event Assistance – Help set up, guide participants, and manage activities at signature events like the Summer Game Feast, Holes & Hops Cornhole Tournament, and Pikes Peak Gives activities.

Conservation & Maintenance – Support habitat improvement projects, trail maintenance, and grounds care at historic Venetucci Farms.

Family Engagement – Welcome participants, help with check-in, and ensure a warm, inclusive atmosphere during programs and events.

Special Projects – Jump in for unique opportunities like fly fishing clinics, wildlife education days, and seasonal community events.
