Description:

The Sportsmen Volunteers are a group of passionate people invested in the mission of Colorado Youth Outdoors. This group has a variety of skills and help in every facete of the organization.

Support outdoor programs like archery, fishing, survival skills, and shooting sports.

Mentor youth and families during CORE classes, summer camps, and field trips.

Assist with events such as team-building activities or community fundraisers.

Help with logistics—setting up gear, managing check-ins, or guiding participants.

Be a positive role model who encourages connection, respect, and outdoor fun.

Assist with facilities upkeep and maintience like mowing, pond health and fix equipment.

The Sportsmen meet every Tuesday morning at 830am for coffee and breakfast at the Colorado Youth Outdoors campus. This meeting is ment to build community and provide a consistent volunteer time to work on ongoing projects.

 

Time Commitment:

Varied and at will commitments.

There are several opportunities around programming times, fundrasing and outreach events or as needed facility projects.
